What should I wear?
We have a "come as you are" approach to ministry. We believe that God wants us to come to Him just as we are. We have that same mentality when we gather. Most people will be very casually dressed.
What if I do not know anything about the Bible or Christianity?
At South Pointe, we know that everyone is at different stages in their spiritual journey. Some people are very skeptical about the whole Christianity concept. Some people are just learning. Others have been Christ followers for several years. We want to offer you an environment where you can take one more step toward becoming an authentic and passionate follower of Jesus Christ. Skeptics are welcome. Questions are encouraged. Growth happens.

What is the relationship between South Pointe and First Baptist Church Indian Trail?
God has blessed FBCIT in some amazing ways to impact the kingdom of God in the greater Charlotte/ Monroe area. With an average attendance each Sunday close to 3,000, God laid it upon the pastor and leadership's heart to expand the ministry beyond their impact area. The Lord opened a door for Indian Trail to plant a church in Pageland, SC. FBCIT has and will continue to support and invest to see this ministry succeed and impact the kingdom of God in the greater Pageland area.
Does the church have a school ministry?
Yes we do! It is known as South Pointe Christian School and our administrator is Mr. Dan Wooten. We have over 240 children in the school ministry impacting the lives of over 150 families in the community. For more information about the school ministry, please call 843-672-2760 or email Dan at dan.wooten@fbcit.org.
I noticed a building in downton Pageland that has South Pointe Fellowship Student Center and Offices on it. What is that about?
In October 2008, we leased a 5,000 sq. ft. building that had been recently renovated in downtown Pageland. The vision was two-fold: to create a place where young people can gather off-site to hang out, play games and worship God; the second being to have a presence in the downtown area in an effort to make an impact in our community. By the way, the name of the building is "The Pointe," and we hope to have offices in there one day.
