KEVIN QUALLS
Lead Pastor

Kevin is the Lead Pastor of South Pointe Fellowship and is primarily responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the church as well as teaching on Sunday and Wednesday.

The Basics: Kevin and Kim were married in 1994 and served three churches in North and South Carolina before coming to FBCIT to start South Pointe Fellowship in 2007. Kevin and Kim have three children: Emma, Stephen and Benjamin.

Education: Kevin has a B.A. from Gardner Webb University and a Masters degree from Southeastern Theological Seminary.

Have you ever gone cow-tipping? Nope, I do not believe in animal cruelty!!

What is your worst pet peeve? Slow drivers or waiting in the wrong grocery line.

What is your favorite horror movie? Haven't seen any in a long time. Maybe the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

What is your favorite color? Carolina blue

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Not usually

What is your favorite book? Best read in a while is Crazy Love by Francis Chan.

What is your favorite movie? The newest Star Trek movie that came out in 2009.

What is your favorite midnight snack? Crunch-n-munch

What is the one, single food you would never give up? Chicken wings

What is your weirdest "quirk"? I have slept with an oversized (4 ft. long) UNC tarheel pillow every night since Kim and I got married.

What was your favorite toy as a kid? Star wars figures

What is your favorite food? Ribeye, with sushi and chicken wings a close second.

What is your favorite sports team? UNC Tarheels and New York Yankees

What is your favorite sundae topping? Fudge
